Our Story

Our story begins with Once Upon a Time…… Just kidding, our first date was St. Patrick’s Day 2021 at Carrabba’s Italian Grill for dinner. Scott had been divorced for a few years and my husband died 5 years prior. Scott, as usual, was early and I, as you know, was 5 minutes late. I guess the saying is true that opposites do attract.

We sat there for about an hour and a half talking before we even ordered and closed the place down at the end of the night. We never had a loss of topic or conversation. For me, this was a sign that there could be a second date.

And so the story began… now four years later we are planning our wedding. It has been filled with meaningful moments, challenges, and many great memories. As we reflect on the last four years, we are reminded how profoundly blessed we have been to have found each other and celebrate the meaning of family.

As we plan for the big day, we are mindful of our children, six of them, family and friends that have been with us along this journey. We love you and are thankful to able to share our wedding day with you.
